Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This policy covers khalsafirstlife.com and the details you send us through it. It is published by Khalsa First Life Financial Group, an independent life insurance agency based in Dallas, Texas. When you apply for a policy, the carrier you apply with also handles your information under its own privacy notice, which your agent will point you to.

2. Information we collect

Through the Contact form: your name, phone number, state, the best time to call, and, if you choose to give them, your email address, the kind of coverage you're interested in and a message.

Through the Interview form for agents: your name, phone number, email address, state, whether you are licensed, the best time to call and, if you choose, a message.

With every form we also keep the wording of the consent box you ticked and when you ticked it, the page you sent it from, and your browser type. Your internet address is never stored; we keep only a scrambled code made from it, used to stop the same address sending the form over and over.

This website never asks for a Social Security number, a date of birth, health details, bank details or card details. Anything an application needs is taken by a licensed agent on a call, not through this website.

3. How we use your information

To call or text you back about your request, as the consent box on each form says; to pass your request to a licensed agent who can help in your state; to keep a record that you asked to be contacted; and to keep the forms free of spam and abuse.

We don't use what you send us for anything you didn't ask for, and we don't send you marketing from other companies.

4. How we share information

We don't sell or rent your personal information, and we don't share it with anyone for their own marketing.

Your request goes into the agency's own client system, which only the agency and its licensed agents can open. The companies that host this website and store that system for us handle it only to provide that service. If you decide to apply for coverage, the details you give your agent go to the carrier you apply with. We may also disclose information when the law requires it or to protect people from fraud or harm.

5. Cookies and analytics

This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics, advertising or tracking code. The page fonts load from Google Fonts, so your browser asks Google for them and Google receives your internet address in that request, under Google's own privacy policy. Our hosting provider keeps routine server logs to run and protect the website.

6. Data security

Every page and form is sent over an encrypted connection. Requests are stored in a system that only signed-in staff and agents can open, and each agent sees only the clients assigned to them. No method of sending or storing information is perfectly secure, but we work to protect what you trust us with.

7. Data retention

We keep a request for as long as we need it to help you, and afterwards for as long as insurance rules and other laws require us to keep records. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, and we will unless the law requires us to keep it.

8. Your choices and rights

Reply STOP to any text from us and the texts end. You can ask us to stop calling, and we will. You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it, using the contact details below. Depending on the state you live in, you may have more rights under that state's privacy law, and we will honor them.

9. Children's privacy

This website is meant for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and if we learn that we have, we delete it.

10. Third-party links

Some pages link to carriers and other websites. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we aren't responsible for how they handle your information.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will post the new version here with a new date at the top. Changes apply to information collected after that date.
